Cold and Flu Season

Across much of the country, in fact most of the northern hemisphere, we are getting into the worst of cold and flu season. Except here in central Texas where we are breaking high temperature records and keeping the AC on. The title to this post is a link to an article we did on colds and flu.

There has been some interesting research done on the transmission of the viruses that cause colds and the flu. This article looks at western medical research and explains how Traditional Chinese Medicine can help in this area.

We have had amazing success treating colds with Chinese Herbs. I had a professor once who told us that treating colds is good because it is easy and the patient will be so impressed that they will come back for other treatments.

Personally at the first sign of a cold I take Chinese herbs so it doesn't get any worse. So the next time you feel a cold coming on..... Call an acupuncturist who is good at herbs.
