Acupuncture study gives hope to those trying to conceive.

Most of the studies that have been done about acupuncture and fertility have been done for IVF. The thoughts seem to be that acupuncture can increase blood flow to the uterus, relax the cervix and reduce stress hormones. These are all things that are thought to increase the chances of implantation. Whether you want to measure the effect by blood flow and hormones or something more subtle and energetic, this study suggests that acupuncture is a viable aid to those undergoing IVF.
